Background Check — Disclosure & Authorization

Disclosure
Teton Valley RV Park (“TVR”) may obtain a consumer report (a tenant-screening / background report) about you from a consumer reporting agency in connection with your application for a winter monthly RV site. The report may include credit history, criminal-record history, eviction history, and identity verification.
Authorization
By checking the authorization box on the application (or signing in an e-sign flow), you authorize TVR and its screening provider to obtain such a report about you now and, if you apply to extend, during your application to extend. Authorization is individual: every occupant aged 18 or older must complete their own authorization — one adult cannot authorize screening of another. TVR will send each named adult their own authorization and screening request.
Your rights
Under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA): if TVR declines or conditions your application based in whole or in part on a consumer report, you will receive an adverse-action notice identifying the reporting agency, and you have the right to obtain a free copy of the report from that agency within 60 days and to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information with the agency. The agency did not make the decision and cannot explain it. You may also obtain a Summary of Your Rights Under the FCRA from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov.
Fair housing
Screening criteria are applied consistently to every applicant. TVR does not consider race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, or any other status protected by federal or Idaho law.
Your license & your data
The driver’s license you upload is transmitted securely, used only for identity verification and screening, shared only with our screening provider as needed, and deleted after your application is decided. We do not sell applicant data.
